  7. @Manly O'ger Being religious has nothing to do with being a cult. What defines a cult is a group that is highly secretive and very controlling of its members. ISIS while a tyrannical group is not secretive they are very open about what they do. Cults also tend to much smaller more personal affairs involve up a few hundred people at most. Cults tend to involve one to one interactions between the leaders and the members. Being part of an organisation does not mean it is a cult no matter how crazy that group actually is.

  9. North Korea is not a cult. It is a system of government that oppresses people. Each person is terrified of making a simple mistake that will send them to a prison camp. People are starving, terrified and undereducated. Children are sent to a school that then educates them in a fashion that keeps this cycle continuing.

  10. About 1 in 10 people have an IQ less than 85. About 1 in 20 people are psychopathic. So what happens is a psychopathic person with a higher than average IQ exploits those with lower IQ. Some of the lower IQ people will be a psychopath as well so are willing to do whatever is ordered.
