  1. Not for one second do I buy into the argument that this is for money. They could've done a ton of videos of stupid stuff and still got children watching and none of it would be disturbing. Some people including academics of children's study believe that these videos are produced by highly organized groups that are targeting young children on purpose. Young children simply are not going to understand the content when they see it.

  2. I do not think Youtube is in on this people. What seems to happening is that Youtube seems to be unable to actually deal with the scale of this issue which seems to have taken them by surprise.
