  3. The US school system and media has lied to people post WW2. One of the biggest lies was that Hitler was right wing. Kids today do not realize that Nazi means National Socialist. Or that Fascism came from the ideology of Fasci which was also socialist. That is the reason why you do not know or understand any of this at all.

  7. @John Burns It does not matter if the British or Japanese carriers were superior. US scale just out performed Japanese quality. Germany had amazing aircraft and fighters the problem was the US just had several times as many and could keep sending more. At one point US factories were producing 1 bomber every hour.

Saddam was doing very dodgy things and that made people very nervous considering he had invaded countries before. The US and British were so paranoid that they thought a large order of metal tubes was proof of an enrichment program in Iraq. You cannot even use weapons of mass destruction as a comparison to Versailles. There was near to 20 million dead in WW1 and the west as a whole was determined that Germany would pay for what it had taken. The Alternative was that France, UK and US would destroy Germany at the end of WW1. Germany got of easy with Versaille. The problem was that Britain was an appeaser politically and American was trying to keep its head low by isolationism. Versaille was not the roots of WW2 weakness was.

  23. Germany's mistake was that they invaded France. That used up all their resources because it dragged the Uk and then the US to the war. If Germany had of focused on Russia it would have conquered it easily and then would have had all the resources they needed to do as they please. That all sounds reasoable but the Nazi's were not reasonable.

On a gold standard one gold mark would buy 10 loaves of bread today and in 10 years time it would buy 15 loaves of bread. What this means is that the consumer would have their purchasing power increased. That means real wealth would increase. Workers under a gold standard would not actually need a monitory pay increase as their existing pay would just allow them to buy more. Under the last gold standard gold could be bought for $35 in 1947 and in 1967 it was still $35 even though real wages in that period increased from about $1800 to about $5000. The very private banks you criticize are the ones telling you that a gold currency is a straight jacket.

  28. Many US intellectuals would have been sympathetic to the Fascists and Nazi's pre WW2. Time magazine had glowing covers on them. In 2019 I seen Time magazine write glowing articles about Xi as if his power grab was a good thing and that it was a new glowing direction for the world and that it would lead the world into the new light.

  34. RAF could not have sustained if they did not have US supplies. There was two different schools of thought that were tested and neither was shown at the start to be superior at the start but once the US got its numbers and patterns correct day bombing was better.
