  1. Where would you move them to? What government is willing to have them land on their soil. I think the ship should be taken out to sea and then an island should be established for quarantine and the WHO, British, Japanese government, EU and America should be throwing all their resources at the passengers to see if it can be controlled. Is that ship really offering quarantine.

  2. The problem is that the Chinese government did not react or take it seriously enough at first. But neither is the US, British, German, Italian, Canadian, Japanese government taking it seriously enough. At a certain level the Chinese government can be excused because they may have been overwhelmed. But western governments watching this know full well what is happening and have been lazy as hell.

  3. Testing everybody to understand how the disease is spreading is very complicated. Japan needs to keep resources for its own peoples if there is an outbreak there.

  4. That will in no way allow them to understand how many people are being infected. Plus japan does not want to waste resources that they need for the 120 million living in Japan.

  5.  @MrGrapesforall  I am afraid you do not seem to understand the nature or seriousness of what is going on. Countries do not have the resources to deal with this. They do not have the testing equipment. It does not matter how much money they have they cannot just pluck the testing equipment out of the air because there is a short of them. Even basic equipment like masks and rubber gloves are running out so governments with their billions cannot even buy them.

  14.  @jackcoad7852  The last I had heard they only tested about 300 people. So that means nearly 50% of those tested have come back positive. Now my figure might be out on this but how accurate is the detection rate. There could be several hundred people on board with the infection.

  15.  @MISSINGROGERHOWARTH  It is nowhere near 90%. That is just silly at best. Lots of generic medicines are created in China for the western markets.
