Most of those that are moving out of California are conservatives. Some places like Austin Texas are a magnet for socialist hipsters but most that move are the sensible people as they have had enough of the craziness.

@Alex Williams London is different but similar because it is being caused by the parliaments over regulations at a national level which is hitting London the hardest. California is something that is being driven purely in California.

@Dweeb Ghost Hippies were a myth and it was the media that expanded their importance. Very few people in the 1960s and 70s were genuine hippies. Hipster is just a modern title given to those trying to be cool and counter culture but they are neither and it came out of New York originally. I seen those types at college decades ago with their beret, funny little beards, Turtle necks, there constant banging on about jazz and talking about the trendies latest bit of garbage literature that the Guardian told them was cool. I think we can just all the lot of them fools.
