@suides4810 A family in the US with an income of about 120K will pay 15% tax the exact same family in Germany will pay 45% taxes. Saying things are free is just false and misleading. 15,000 paid in taxes is different from 45,000 paid in taxes. And then there is the cost of living cars are far cheaper in America because they face less taxes as are homes. I could go on and on about this.

@davidneuhoff5455 But it is not a few more taxes David. Paying 15,000 or 45,000 per 100,000 income is not a few more taxes. Pay that over 40 years and the difference is 600000 compared to 1800000. That is most certainly not a little bit more than is a 300% increase. This is not about rich people this is about average families were both the parents are working.

@brettcharbonneau4089 Reduced costs? you are joking are you ? $69,000 in debt is not reduced.

@connorphilipp You do not get it for a thousand bucks. Either you are ignorant or you are willfully lying. Taxes are twice as high in Germany the only difference is you pay taxes for life whereas college fees are until it is cleared. And not everybody ends up with high college costs in America. Only those that go to the best universities such as Harvard.

Commies first of all introduce college loans schemes people get into debt and their solution is taxation fund schemes. This was what they wanted all along.

@Chapter Eleven Her whole life is airpods. She cannot afford them just as many of those young people cannot afford the phones they have.

Nothing to do with recession. Governments and states are guaranteeing student debt so colleges can set any price they desire.

Juan Lobos Martin Do not confuse average wage with household income. Most households have two incomes and households that are well of have one income reliance. Average US household income is about $60,000 with an effect tax rate of about 15% on that income while in france is at an effective rate of 30%.
