  2. It makes no sense at all for McGregor to fight either Aldo,  Swanson or Lamas.  Let him fight Aldo because either he can Beat him or he cannot. If he Loses to one of them then that will be the end of the hype.  This type of hype cannot be bought and it is rare. All of those fighters you have mentioned have Lost to Aldo already.

  3. He still has a lot to prove.  He has potential but that does not mean he is now the best. We will need to see.

That is what the UFC should not do.  It is fight entertainment and while the iron is hot Mcgregor should be fast tracked to a title fight and if he loses then that will be it.  Both Swanson and Edgar have both fought Aldo already and it makes no sense for them to fight Aldo ahead of McGregor.  Nor does it make any sense for McGregor to fight either of them. What is the point of some test either he can be Aldo or he Cannot beat Aldo.  If Aldo Beats McGregor then Both Edgar and Swanson could fight for the title but if McGregor Wins they could still fight for the title with massive hype around it.
