  1. He simply could keep his early pace up to match Paddy's physicality. Paddy was cruising for the whole fight until he stepped it up a gear.

  6.  @Hahah100  In the 155 division there is nobody with punching power. McGregor is finished and he was the only fighter with that genuine punching power. The single punch power is not there.

  19.  @skipperad007  Knocking somebody off balance is not rocking them. Paddy was still standing and willing to go toe to toe with him but Luigi burned out due to his unrealistic pace.

  21. He does not respect the punching power of any fighter in that division. Lighter weight fighters do not have punching power generally. Paddy is an exception. Luigi had to push him self at 100% effort to try and match Paddy's power.

  22.  @__D-B__  Paddy can finish guys through a mixture of different methods. He can submit, dominate by ground and pound or by using his hands. The question is can he do that in the UFC. Paddy has that one punch power but he rarely uses it as he looks for weaknesses in his opponents and exploits it. Luigi like the other fighters in the division do not have punching power. Do not confusing good powerful stand up striking game with one punch power.

  28. That division simply does not have any real punching power and somebody like Paddy does not respect the punching of the fighters in that division. He is normally considered a pressure methodical fighter but in that fight he kept rushing and said that he did it as he wanted to impress in the fight with a knockout finish.

  29. Put him out with what? He hit him with his best shots and it done nothing other than unbalance him. Luigi burned himself out in that fight and he moment Paddy recognised that he just put his foot on the gas.
