  3. That is not the real reason. There is more poverty in the US than there is in Germany. Switzerland has a high gun ownership but does not have crime stats any greater than Germany nor does its police have any greater Issues. Take a city like Detroit there would be more crime there than there would almost be in German alone. Poverty is the real. The UK has over 29000 knife crimes a year and that is also down to poverty as it has some of the biggest slums in Europe.
