They are Irish economic waters and are considered international when they are passing through but are not allowed to camp there and act like it is their waters. Ireland just need to hope that they move on.

Ireland's economic zone means it belongs to Ireland. Countries can pass through it without problems but not have their military camping out in it.

@patricktate4782 It does not mean what you think it a means. Those are Irish economic waters mean anything in that region belows to ireland such as oil and fish. Boats are free to travel through the water but not to be active in those waters.

Sweetpea Cheerleader When a gun is being fired at a car it is an act that is intended to kill. That was not 100 feet it was within 30 feet and you can clearly see that there are a group of men standing there waiting to pounce. The men in that car were very very lucky as the person firing the shot intended to kill. That was a robbery that did not succeed. If they had of pulled them out of the car and beat them up I am sure you would still be claiming it was over a feud. As I stated travellers do not go around randomly shooting people even people they are in a fued with.

Travellers are not in the habit of just firing shots at a car on the guess that it is somebody else. Those guys that were shooting were hardcore but thank goodness they were not good at what they were doing.

kandycid100 Not stupid at all. If a gun, knife or bottle is not used does that mean no crime has not been committed? Just because a gun is not used in a crime is not the legal standard that implies conviction. I have seen first hand in A&E the consequences of street fights including superficial injuries like bruising, cuts and soft tissue damage. And I have also seen internal bleeding, brain hemorrhaging, skill fractures and soft tissue inflationmation that has put extreme pressure on the brain. Some of the people involved in that video more than likely have previous convictions and at some point they will kill or maim a person. How would you like if you mother was in the middle of that?

@freedommobuk1288 It is only part of the culture because it is tolerated. If two men want to have a fight that is of mutual consent and they punch it out that is one thing. But that bar fight was groups of men actually trying to inflict severe in injury on other people.

@esoterico6062 I have seen it first hand myself in A&E and it can be horrible. If it was a case of two men agreeing to fight and then punching it out we could think of it as crazy and that would be the end of it. But an attack involving groups of men is an entirely different thing.

+FewTo Respect You seem to be implying that an officer should always provide risk. Just because some other officers decided to provide risk. They gave that person every opportunity to lay down the weapon and she choose not to do so. That officer has to make a call in seconds not 5 minutes as you seem to think. That lady could have in a few steps rushed that officer and stabbed him. That is the decision making process. And I have faced people down with weapons and can tell you every decision you make is a risk.

+Frederick Williams You are watching too many movies. They could beat her with batons and still get stabbed them self. Officers are fully aware at all times that they are carrying a gun and every interaction they have could result in them losing control of the gun. Officers are not out there to take unnecessary risks to satisfy your movie fantasies. I bet you even believe they can shoot people in the legs to stop them running.

@Thiabault Dubois I think it is close to pre WW1 which had a banking crisis and power vacuums and also weak leadership. There is a little bit of WW2 in there as well. I have read the book which was fantastic cannot wait to see tv series.

@alexander92179 Conservatives want it to happen as well and many are pushing for it but in the real world it is hard to implement politically. Reform may like to talk about it but actually trying to get it into government is much more difficult.
