I am afraid Joe can remove his libertarian badge he sounds like a socialist in this interview. He is proposing market regulation.

ehex3 Normally when he is playing the advocate he actually say he is. But not here as I have noticed in a few of his interviews he is in favor of regulation. When Joe was interviewing Ana kasparian he more or less agreed with all of her proposed communist regulations. Joe has shown his true colors in these interviews. Anything he more or less say now is bull. Everything Joe is about can be gleamed from these interviews.

There is nothing worse than trusting a socialist.

Joe is clearly a socialist that has been parading the whole time as a lover of freedom. No matter what he say's from this point cannot be trusted.

Yes it is referred to as jealous. The french are very arrogant the Germans tried to destroy Europe and we are suppose to believe that they call Americans this because they are loud. No it is Jealousy of American wealth that drives a lot of this.

1909CHAD Joe did not really allow him to debate the issue he kept changing the direction of it and then he would go back to the issue when obviously it was not addressed. No amount of regulation will change the fact that there is always risk. If we ban the likes of British Gas then we will all be poorer for it. Joe keeps bringing up the environment but offers no solution.

1909CHAD Sorry for the long winded response. For some one like my self who understand's the economic perspective on this. It was not a debate and all Joe done was make a mockery of intellectual exchange. Joe Knew right well what he was doing in this interview from the get go he was on the attack. Joe is the host here and he controls the quality of the debate. He kept referring to sneaky jibs. As a practicing medical doctor and investor at one point I was a very strong proponent of investment in pharmaceutical research but based upon some of the most basic cost analysis of research and product development I would recommend the vast majority of investor to stay away from the field and for most small pharmaceutical companies to stick to what they got and invest in services. It has gotten now to the point that only the big companies can create products and the ironic thing is that these companies if starting out today they would not stand a chance. And we would be a lot poorer for it medically. Peter is not interested in the criminal aspect of this and Joe never brought this up either. Joe only referred to the commercial aspect so what did he actually expect. Joe Knew right well what he was doing in this interview from the get go he was on the attack. And even when peter showed the flaws of the FDA Joe was still in favor of it. Joe is a socialist in disguise.
