  2. It is hard for people to understand but full control when blows are to the face and head need to be exercised in Karate competition. And that kick was of the highest level of control and it was a ridiculous decision.

There are no major sports including Karate that would allow a win for an opponent who is unable to carry on even if they are in the lead. That was a perfectly controlled kick for a karate contest and was not a full contact kick that lacked control.

  5. It karate they have to keep full control so no full contact punchings to the face and kicks must be controlled but that was a very controlled kick.

  6. It is a perfectly fine fighting discipline. And easily be mixed with BJJ, Jude or wrestling. Wrestling and Karate could be a perfect mix so that you could exercise kicks when at distance and when close you can grapple.
