  1.  @alani3992  Most of the Bengal Tigers live outside Bengal, the British named them Bengal Tigers for some reason, the majority of Bengal tigers live in Central and Southern India, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka have the highest no.of Tigers in India (almost similar, 526 and 524 respectively), not Paschim Bengal. Bangladesh has about 300 Tigers and Paschim Bengal has 131 tigers, so the whole Bengal region has less no.of tigers compared to Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh each.
