  2. Most Indians who go to the West to study don't come back. Most start-ups here are founded by people who never went to the West to study. Most of the founders in India only hold a Bachelor's degree in Technology or Engineering from Indian universities.

  3. That can only happen in settler societies like USA, Canada or Australia. Indonesia isn't a settler society or an immigrant country. Imagine trying to relocate people from UP and Bihar to Telangana or Karnataka. The consequences would be similar in Indonesia. Because people of every Island have their own identity.

  4. Haryana is also not a big state, it has less than 30M people and Delhi's population is 32M (Metro area). We should consider the metro area because all of it comes under the Govt of Delhi, not just proper New Delhi. Nobody talks about it because India has been a full-fledged nation state from its Independence and didn't become a thing recently like the EU, and no one talks about the US states and Chinese provinces too. Edit:- EU is also fundamentally a much different political entity compared to India and the difference in political transparency, education and economy would make both these political entities need different types of governing methods.

  5.  @craigstephens93  He meant to say that India has a superior integration compared to EU, which is obvious because India is a Nation not a union of Nations, he didn't say anything about development or economy.

  6.  @foxyboiiyt3332  The richest Indian state has a GDP per capita of $7,300 and the poorest one has a per capita of $768, the GDP per capita of the richest state is 9.5 times that of the poorest state, however this state is a tiny state compared to other states in India. So, the richest big state in India has a GDP per capita of $3,865 which is 5 times that of the poorest states. So, the income inequality between the states in the USA isn't as much as in the states of India.

  7.  @studytime2570  That is not how societies work. For that to happen everyone should speak the same language. Have similar world views/ ideologies. And, people should not have a sense of belonging to a group of like-minded people.

  8. I think EE gives 9/10 for GDP per capita to a country only if it's in the Top 10 to Top 14, I think it's justified.

  10.  @duckpotat9818  Also, how did you get the stats of Indian states GDP PPP per capita? I'm not able to find that. Some of the richest big states in India are Telangana with a GDP per capita of $3,865, Haryana with a GDP per capita of $3,700, Tamil Nadu with a GDP per capita of $3,340, Punjab with a GDP per capita of $2,121 and poorest states are Bihar with a GDP per capita of $793, Jharkhand with a GDP per capita of $768 and UP with a GDP per capita of $1026. So, the difference between the richest Big Indian state and the poorest Big Indian state is 3865/768 which makes Telangana 5x richer than Jharkhand, which is pretty close to the 6x difference between the richest and the poorest Big states you gave, but, where did you get those GDP PPP per capita stats from?

  14.  @Blackread  The ranking doesn't consider about HDI or anything related to quality of life, it focuses mostly on growth potential and how good a country's industries are. I think this is a good table to know how much potential a country has and how much that country is working towards reaching that potential.

  17.  @braynstorm3149  Pakistan has more overpopulation than India or China. Ever Googled their birth rates? Now, yes, Pakistan's population density is not as high as India's. But, that's because half of their country is just desert, and another 10% is mountains. So, only 40% of their land has 90-95% of their population.
