@JamilAhmed-md8mf I didn't fall for any propaganda, I'm not even a BJP supporter, I'm from the South where only one state out of 5 is under a BJP govt and I'm not from that state, all the statistics related to anything in India are given by different organisations, any political party doesn't have an authority to give any stats related to anything. According to a Former BSF (Border Security Force officer) there are 2-6 crore (20-60 Million) Bangladeshi immigrants living in India. According to Samir Guha Roy of the Indian Statistical institute on an avg 91,000 Bangladeshis came to India every year during 1981-1991. I agree that Bangladesh is ahead of India in many social criteria AND GDP per capita, but, India is faar ahead in Science and Technology, Information Technology, Start-ups and economic growth. Bangladesh GDP growth rate will be 5.2% in 2023 and 6.2% in 2024, whereas India's growth rate will be 6% and 7% respectively, also, Bangladesh' economy relies mostly on Textiles and India's economy relies mostly on IT and Services, India's growth is only starting, but, when Bangladesh' growth will slow down as Textiles can only offer so much growth, Bangladesh doesn't have good growth in service sector and Bangladesh isn't better than India in anything except Textile manufacturing.

@JamilAhmed-md8mf All Nations didn't start to grow exclusively on textile manufacturing, but, Bangladesh has a huge potential if you start prioritising manufacturing of electronics, and other high value adding goods, also Bangladesh should build more and better universities for Science and Technology and Commerce, economics etc.... India is also faar behind East Asian and Western countries when it comes to good educational institutions but India has the best educational institutions in South Asia, and these institutions produced many of India's start-up founders and also many who hold high posts in Silicon valley like Sundar Pichai and many more. But, India has to build more of those universities. Saying that UK has grown because of textiles is laughable, they built the best Navy in the world, the best weapons in the world and had the best eduction and Scientists in the world, they also had the best Economists like Adam Smith 'The Father of Capitalism'. They were ahead in so many aspects compared to the rest of the world, they became dominant, they only started to earn profits from textiles AFTER colonising India. How do you colonise India without being better than them in every aspect of Science and Technology and without having a superior Military? They already were rich and powerful without the textiles. China did much more than just textile manufacturing, they established SEZs (Special economic Zones) in China, all of those special economic zones were alloted different manufacturing products and the Chinese govt gave all them the education and skills needed to do the manufacturing. South Korea and Taiwan are pretty much the same but scale is much lower. About the no.of illegal immigrants living in India maybe near the lower end of 2crores, or maybe even lower than that. But, it isn't non-existent. BSF officer isn't a statistician and doesn't have all the Data to give an exact number, they just give a number which they estimate, their source would be their own records. About the growth, Moody's isn't that accurate, compared to IMF or World Bank. Even Moody's is raising their projected growth rate of India, they raised it from 4.8% in 2023 to 5.5%, according to IMF (which is according to me the most reliable source) India's growth rate is going to be 6.1% in the FY 2023-2024 and 6.8% in the FY 2024-2025, which is 6% and 7% respectively. And, most Indians don't think of Illegal immigrants as 'termites'. We don't mind them, only some politicians do politics about it to do the hate-mongering. India too wants to co-operate with Bangladesh. Even Bangladesh has some people who're against partnering with India, there are many Religions bigots just like in India. I've seen many people on YT saying Pakistan is their friend and India isn't, there's even a video interviewing Bangladeshi citizens on their views about Indians and Pakistanis where some people favoured Pakistan over India, I think that's a video of the channel 'Asian Boss'. Nonetheless, we would love to work with Bangladesh, it would only be beneficial for us.
