@sanrboss Sati started from 13th century you FOOL and manusmriti doesn't support Child marriage. And, all the books are not taken seriously, all of them contradict with each other, all those books were written by different people from different regions, they weren't read by people, like how Muslims and Christians read Qur'an and Bible.

@sanrboss First of all, sati started during 13th century, not 3rd or 4th century. And, if you really think that all the books written in India were/are taken seriously. Go and read them for yourself, many of them contradict eachother. Why do they contradict eachother? Because, they weren't written by one single entity, they were written in different centuries and by different people in different regions. Unlike Quran and Bible, which were written only once, by one single entity. And, Vedas are also changed after 11th century, Vedas aren't written at one point of time. They were written from 3rd century BCE to 16th century. The most recent change in Vedas came in 16th century. Many verses in Vedas themselves contradict eachother. How can anyone follow them? That's why they are not taken seriously. And, tbh, you know about Hindu texts more than Real Hindus, which shows how much seriously Hindus take their so-called holy texts 😂. Our religion allows us to change anything we don't like, does your religion allow that? No.

@sanrboss Caste system was fluid in ancient times. It got rigidified after Europeans came. As, it became hard for their administrative purposes. For proof, Valmiki was a born shudra, he became a Brahmin and wrote Ramayana. He became Brahmin because he was good in language and could do poetry. Another example, Chandragupta Maurya was born Shudra, Chanakya taught him how to fight and taught him politics. Because, he became a politician and a warrior. He became a Kshatriya.

@sanrboss Respect you too. You are atleast making sense, others just want to defame Indian culture. But, Sati was popularised in 13th century only, but it was only limited to some parts of Bihar and Bengal, even in its height during British rule, Sati was only practiced in parts of Bihar and Bengal. There is a reason why it ended because of a Bengali (Raja Rammohan Roy). It was practised alot in Bengal. And, Sati started in 11th - 13th century only.
