Wasn't Nader Shah Persian?

@aaronTGP_3756 So, was he a Persianised Turk?

@nenenindonu Okay, thanks for the information. I don't know much about Turkic and Persian history. I just assumed that Nader Shah was a Persian because of his title 'Shah'. I thought that title was only given to Persian Kings.

@Mahdyar_071 When Nader shah was ruling, Persians didn't have a state of their own. Turkic people had.

@Mahdyar_071 The name "Iran" existed, but the nation didn't. Just like how India and China existed for thousands of years, but, they became countries in 1947 and 1949 respectively. Before that they were empires and kingdoms.

@Sarmachar126 Same thing, now don't be like erdogan

@Sarmachar126 Being upset with the english version of their country's name is common b/w you and erdogan

@Sarmachar126 But, Persians are the majority in Iran. And, Farsi (Persian) is the official language of Iran. So, it just means that Persians are ruling over other minorities, that's it.

@Sarmachar126 That means whatever ethnicity you belong to doesn't have a state of it's own.

@Sarmachar126 At that time there were no nations in Asia. It was a kingdom/empire. Whichever ethnicity rules the empire has the state, whichever ethnicity doesn't have a kingdom of their own doesn't have a state.
