No most Chinese don't care i ask my Chinese colleagues on what they think at first they say the party line but after annoying them they admit they don't really care some of my china friends even say Taiwanese are not Chinese they are different country so the majority of them have this view they just don't want pissed off the government the war was the point of they cut off each other
