@rotaxrider Pulling numbers out of your butt makes you look stupid. 67% of Canadians own a home. Otherwise I lived through 10% inflation in the 1980's and realize we are going through an economic cycle. Nothing more, nothing less. If some folks don't make enough or spend too much it has nothing to do with an elected government. It's on you to learn skills to earn money to buy things. And if you don't appreciate the benefit of a tax free account that's on you also.

@Rick-zw9kp My reality sounds a lot better than yours. I've already paid off one mortgage and I don't care if you can buy a home or not. And if you think another government will suddenly make housing affordable, then maybe it's you who needs the reality check.

@Rick-zw9kp I haven't denied the reality of the current economic cycle we are in. I'm just old and educated enough to understand it's just an economic cycle. I read books at the beginning of the pandemic that predicted this. It could be worse. I'm not one to sit around feeling sorry for myself. And I have no sympathy for those that do. Maybe you can explain to me how bitching and complaining improves your situation.
