@Kim_YoJong it does although it is not the same level (or degree) of sovereignty that exists for the european states or the united states. someone else was here indicating that many African states have their economic sovereignty heavily compromised - which is true. yet that doesn't mean that they don't have sovereignty or that sovereignty doesn't exist for them, it is more a question about what forms of sovereignty they do have and how it is best to ensure that that sovereignty works most optimally (in a utilitarian sense if nothing else) for the future of those folk that need, depend upon, are benefited by or can develop that sovereignty (however fragile).
