  4. What if after civilization gets at certain level of knowledge/realization they simply kill themself because it seems as a reasonable option. Right now, there are plenty of things to learn, but what happens when you learn everything and you become capable of doing whatever you want, (you can only know as much as universe allows you to know)..what happens next, what exactly that type of civilization would do, what's their purpose? It's not like they are driven by unanswered questions or mysteries because there aren't any of it. You want to play piano perfectly, be a perfect football player, know all of the calculus? You jsut download one file and booom,.. you are perfect being capable of whatever you want in matter of microseconds. What do you do then? Maybe the greatest enemy of our consciousness is our consciousness itself?

  5. Right analogy would be: Imagine playing an rpg game, there are many levels, 100th being the limit. You are enjoying the progress of learning, collecting or wahtever the game is about and you have certain goals/achievements you wanna reach within game, but then XX years later you reach 100th level.. You are able to kill anyone with one hit, you have all accessories possibilies, you've won every achievement, you can't get any stronger because you reached 100th level, what happens then? (It's not like creator of the game will update it with new super fun features) You've done everything you could possibly do. At that point game becomes predicitable and boring so you simply quit it,.. you stop playing it. What if that's the faith we are approaching to..

  7. AR will have a faster impact, obviously.. VR has to deal with way tougher challenges at first, but eventually it will have an important role in society, mostly entertainment and education, while i see AR being used by everyone everywhere, literally

  8. Definitely reach out and leave as much marks of our existence in universe. Absolutely thrilled that possibly billions years after our extinction, Tesla car will still be out there somewhere... put it this way, how thrilled would you be to hear that we recieved bunch of signals and/or have spotted objects that belong some ancient alien civilazations. Its just amazing to think we can make such mark in universe. For those who are afraid of such thing backfiring, you have to understand that universe is huge and waves need time to get places, plus aliens would need time to respond in a way. By the time that all plays out, we are either extinct or superspecies having no reason to be afraid... so definite YES
