  34. @kensolar69  I have been alive for 77 years, so I have some knowledge of what a dime would once buy. Two packs of gum for a dime. We all know that inflation is the devaluation of the dollar. Inflation is not some mystical thing. When the dollar is worth less, this does't mean your salary, and the price of things is worth more. The value is an imaginary figure put on things to try to show that the government has everything under control.
