This kid is in shell shock because of the past shooting. I have even seen war veterans from being scared of guns before. This can be a mental issue..

@bayersbluebayoubioweapon8477 listen dumb bow, I was once a child and had shootings around me which may have changed my life. I was also a war veteran who saw new guys when attacked who forgot how to shoot, some threw their weapons down, and some that ran. Shock of danger is a strange thing.
