  3. We were once on a gold and a silver standard, why? It was real value. When I was young a farm fed us and gave us a way to make money. They use to say that land is something that they can't make more of. We once had a government that we trusted, now we have a government that we would be better off without.

  7. They are getting out of solar panels because many of the sellers and installers are going bankrupt leaving some of us with no one to work on our solar systems. This sucks. The government should have companies that will repair these systems that they backed.

  16. Banks and other companies are wanting to loan me a lot of money or hundreds of thousands of dollars for new farming equipment. Why?? I have good credit scores, but i don't need or want the money.

  18. I remember when the toys of the 1950's being made in Japan, then things went to other countries over the years. Why, because they we cheaper and someones better. Of course this took jobs overseas.

  20. I am 77, and gold has been banned during much of my life. But, silver has not. Zimbabwe once had farming as an asset, why not farm again and build their economy???

  23. A token is only digital, nothing that you can hold. So it will be worth only what they say that it is worth. You can't save it at your home. I mailed a package at FedEx the other day, they would not take cash. Had to use my debt card. Imagine, they would rather have digital than real cash.

  27. @chriseustace9734  we ate a lot of potato 🥔 soup. We did have animals. Back then, we cured and smoked. We built a vegetable hill where we stored vegetables during the winter. My father was born in 1918, and his family would jar some meats. We put up fruits, vegetables, jams, and jellies.

  28. @edb3877  I live in SC USA. Solar panels here are not so great at times. When I was a boy, some people had wind mills to pump water. In some areas, there were grist mills that used water wheels that ground corn into mill. Some of the older folks used a stump that was round in the middle and a wood pestal to pound corn into mill.

  37. @edb3877  when I grew up, we were so poor that we had to learn to do most things. Sometimes, it was nice to have a friend or neighbor who knew how to do it if you couldn't. It was called trading labor.

  42. We are bankrupt if; after all, gold and other precious metals are sold, all government property being unused, all land, cuts in government salaries, etc.. All foreign military bases closed and unnecessary military movements curtailed. All of this must be done before they steal our assets or over tax us..

  47. I was in Vietnam 1966-67 and heard that the USA was spending around $14,000,000 a day then. I don't know where it went. We ate C-rations, sometimes K-rations, lived in old French building or in the jungle.
