@nancyreid2416 and you were fooled if you ever thought it would end any other way
18
@nancyreid2416 the gov has 80 seat maj ... please stop lying to yourself
16
@nancyreid2416 vote has been honoured , or are we still members
15
@nancyreid2416 Anyone who still trusts the Westminster Brexit headbangers more than Brussels or Strasbourg, hasn't been paying attention.
14
@sirmeowthelibrarycat great leader and the next pm if the tory don't play musical chairs again
4
@PurityVendetta a good brexiteer never admits failure

@lloroshastar6347 What would it take for you to realise that just saying ‘but Labour are just the same’ doesn’t actually constitute a reasoned argument? And that it’s a pathetic response in an adult discussion, not least because it’s little more than whataboutism. And in actual fact Labour are not just the same. We have not ever had a serial liar as Labour PM. Or one who is grossly incompetent. Boris, truss, and sunak wear that crown, and it is unlikely that we will see anyone as bad in our lifetimes.
3
@lloroshastar6347 seems like a good strong leader to me , unlike the PM at the moment who can't sack anyone
3
@propodkinsbro7224 we are not allowed to vote for our next pm either
3
@hitime2405 and with that we lose 4% growth every year , brexit benefit
3
@hitime2405 and since we lose 4% growth every year , well done voting for a poorer nation
3
@hitime2405 The EU accounted for 42% of UK exports of goods and services and 50% of imports in 2020. The UK generally imports more than it exports meaning that it runs a trade deficit. A deficit of £129 billion on trade in goods was offset by a surplus of £132 billion on trade in services in 2020.
3
@propodkinsbro7224 and now even you can see why, did you really vote for this ....NO.....if you support fptp system like we have when a party gets 40% of the vote and a 80 seat majority , only to get rid of their leader themselves only to be replaced by someone who gets voted in by less than 0.03% of the population , i think you need to re-think your understanding of democracy....
3
@propodkinsbro7224 does not mean it's right , look who we got since 2010 , my point made
3
Six countries happily signed to treaty of Rome. But you can’t quote it in isolation, it’s even been renamed by EU legislation principally due to the Lisbon Treaty which was fiercely debated and negotiated which was ratified by every EU member state.
3
@sabbracadabra did he mention racism ? what benefit have leavers got ?
3
@lloroshastar6347 he is not even try to do that , did you here his speech or not ,
2
@kennylogue7947 starmer want's closer relations with the E.U that has to be good doesn't it , we can all see how bad this brexit has been now.
2
@propodkinsbro7224 and truss will be , by 0.03 % of the population
2
@propodkinsbro7224 we all did and it benefited us , shame it's gone .... those good old days
2
@hitime2405 if you like
2
Who could have anticipated that decades of Tory rule (1979 - 1997, and 2010 - to date), with deliberate policies of Make The Rich Richer, and Let The Poor Die, could have had these entirely predictable consequences.
2
30 years ago you would of had to look it up to see what it meant
2
@robbiethepict2783 yes percy
2
or rwanda
2
don't need to know your personal problems

And in hindsight it turned out that EU gained a lot from brexit The Eurodenominated clearing of derivatives is finally moving into the Eurozone where it belongs. A bussiness that turns over a triliion € daily. A modest estimate is a loss of some £ 85-90 billion in taxrevenues. And the transition period of passporting of financial services from UK to EU has ended forcing UK companies who want to continue to move their operations to EU countries. EU wanted to move the clearing bussiness out earlier when UK was a member but UK refused and took the case to the ECJ who ruled in UK´s favor. As UK is now a third country there is no blocking chance anymore.

1
@propodkinsbro7224 fom was great for this country , going so well since we came out , 4% less growth each year for ever
1
@lloydnaylor6113 and what's the benefits that the majority of you has gained from leaving the E.U ?
1
Why should the EU negotiate the EES biometric test system with a third country? It’s the same checks that apply to all third countries - just like the US biometric test system applies to all non-US countries…
