@sabineduret2512 This apology is so genuine. He had to read it from a piece of paper

I live in an area with many people unemployed but I cannot think of one who wouldn't rather be working. My own son is a single father raising three sons, he does work but has to rely on UC because he cannot get a decent wage to support his family. UC is a nonesense in this day and age, instead of the government subsidising employers they should be making them pay a proper living wage. I cannot fathom why anyone with a smidgin of a social conscience would ever vote Tory when they demonise the poorest and reward the wealthy at every turn.

@lestrem11 Rwanda will be paid to take on the UK’s obligations to provide safe refuge to those fleeing wars and persecution. The deal will include families, women and children. It will include deporting LGBT+ people – who turn to the UK for safety – to a country where gay and transgender people say that security officials accuse them of “not representing Rwandan values” and that those who are imprisoned are accused of “deviant behaviour that is harmful to the public.” Given that the UK government itself has expressed concerns about human rights abuses in Rwanda, it’s clearly been chosen due to its willingness to engage in a commercial transaction with the UK in asylum seekers, rather than its fitness to make judgements on asylum claims. The UK government is engaging in a cruel trick – any asylum seeker making their way to the UK will be regarded as “illegal” unless they use an approved route. Yet approved routes are capped and extremely restricted. Over the past year, we have seen terrible suffering in places like Afghanistan and Ukraine, and the inhumane and bureaucratic barriers built by the Home Office aim to prevent people seeking safety in the UK. So many in the UK have opened up their homes and their hearts to try and help. The government have responded by closing doors. This is the action of a prime minister without a moral compass and with no answer to our real problems. He won’t help families struggling to pay bills or buy food, but is prepared to pay millions to Rwanda in order to “get tough” on refugees.

@2gther4ever ask the police about your desperate comment and you will find out he broke the law , backed up by the fact he paid up . like bojo you show no respect of the dead and the their families
3

3
@dragonfly6908 Boris making a speech to the nation “it is illegal to gather at weddings and funerals in crowds of more than 15 and you can not visit elderly family members” Also Boris that same day - “bottoms up old boy, here’s to another day of dodging responsibility”
3
@joecarty8579 12 years of torys has stuffed us ,
3
so you are the 1
3
damn sight better than the corrupt torys, i mean everyone of them.....
3
@Jack-sq8fb more like last orders
3
@XENONEOMORPH1979 yes if only we were still in the eu then a chat with them and their govt may not be met with laughter
3
very true
3
@XENONEOMORPH1979 you said have a chat with them, hard luck fingers well and truly put up to us
3
@XENONEOMORPH1979 you are full of tory lies , we have no control of anything
3
It well and truly beat me last elections, I mean, is everyone walking round wearing blinkers and ear plugs because I certainly knew what would happen if they got in, same as always lining their own pockets and London and stuff everyone else
3
@XENONEOMORPH1979 We need, at the very least, a publicly owned energy company (take Bulb over because public funds are keeping it afloat) to provide the public with more options and provide the big energy companies with real competition. If this public company eventually takes over the whole market, for putting the public first and not shareholders, then that’d be fine by me.
3
@XENONEOMORPH1979 EDF is state owned . . . By France 🇫🇷. Doing very well, it seems. The right format is state ownership with expert managers in daily charge.
3
Every time I think this Government can't sink any lower...they prove me wrong
3
@crabby7668 they are doing fine and laughing at what they can charge us , well done france , anougher brexit benefit?
3
bojo, "He got us out of Brexit" - proof almost immediately that his mouth opens without having enough connections to his brain.
3
JRM is proof positive that you can put the child in school but you can't make it think.
3
@crabby7668 and we have less say about it know than any time before , because of brexit
3
@crabby7668 The sick fact is that they know exactly what they are doing. They shamelessly pretend to be fools, when they are anything but. They have been in power for 12years and this is where they have brought us. A government that cared for its citizens would have saved up the resources to mitigate unforseen difficulties. These people have spent their time lining their own pockets at our expense
3
@crabby7668 Astounding. Those that prefer red on red fighting. Worker pitched against worker actually believe Tories are looking out for them. Well those that gave the Tories 80 majority red to blue have seen nothing yet, but they will and many will not vote them again. Nothing like learning the hard way. That 80 majority has caused great pain for many workers and yet have seen nothing yet worse jet to come. The Tories are the worst political party to obtain a 80 majority. More power to the Tories when require to have less.
3
The United Kingdom (for now)of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The only nation to have voted to leave the 21st century. Welcome back to the 1960s.
3
@crabby7668 and the benefits for the working man in the last 3 years are??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
3
@crabby7668 so labour have at least looked for people to help and not just hid in a fridge for the last 12 years
3
@crabby7668 so the torys have done nothing for the working man .....and nor has brexit
3
@crabby7668 Why do the Conservative MP's think that they should interfere with due processes that might or might not find criminal or illegal actions have taken place ..Why should laws be made up to protect wrongdoers .. and why should a Government seek to protect individuals who may have misled parliament or may have been involved in corruption. The public need protecting
3
@crabby7668 I don't understand how anyone could doubt he misled Parliament. I know they have to go through the motions just to have it on record, but surely the question could be settled with a simple show of hands, it's that blatantly obvious. He lied repeatedly when questioned about parties that he attended and was photographed attending - there were no parties, then there may have been parties but all rules were followed, then there were parties but he didn't attend, then he did attend but didn't realise he was at a party or that this broke his own government's rules that he himself announced daily on TV for weeks...? Have they all been asleep, or hypnotised, or brainwashed, or do they just not care?
3
@crabby7668 The Tories have been telling us how much they would like to make a bonfire 🔥 of EU rules. But wouldn’t it be ironic if Johnson and Truss were both brought down in flames by parliamentary rules. There’s a sort of poetic justice in that, don’t you think?
3
@crabby7668 Johnson should’ve been fired after meeting Lebedev without his security detail. The fact he wasn’t casts a long shadow over everything that’s happened since
