  2. There is no law which forbids one to ride on "the side area." It's not a sidewalk. So, you're cool, especially since you're not obstructing traffic by doing so if you were riding toward the middle of the road into traffic. Loved the peaceful ride on this beautiful day! Thanks for sharing.
