  3. Agreed Conor and Ava! The overturn of Roe V Wade worried me too, believing it was going to be the thin edge of a very large regressive wedge. Start with reproductive healthcare, then women's rights more broadly. Move to LGBT+, with the main focus on the T and then regress back to no mixed marriages. Finally attack civil rights for non-white people and then mop up any residual rights that might be left. The transwomen are predators nonsense is a copy and paste of what was around when I was growing up. The homophobic sh*t around the AIDS epidemic was disgusting. The Haunted Pencil quoted word, for word the SCOTUS judges in their confirmation hearings, who later overturned Roe V Wade. That his faith caused him to believe life starts at conception, but access to abortions is a settled, legal matter. But none of this could happen here, so that's ok. Phew!
