  1. Renting itself is demonised. I'm in a precarious housing situation and I still don't want to own a property - or more accurately have a lifelong debt, while the bank owns the property and allows me to buy it on a hire_purchase/ layaway arrangement. What I want is somewhere affordable to live, that doesn't make me ill_depressed. Somewhere where I'm not under constant threat of having to move every other month because the person who 'owns' the house feels that they deserve yet more of the money I've earnt in my just above minimum wage job. The landlord deserves more of the money I've earnt because they work really hard collecting my money, while they shop for clothes. They're a moral person because they're a landlord and as they're more moral than me, they deserve more of the money I've worked hard for, which really they've worked hard for because I'm already past the average life expectancy of a homeless person and ultimately I don't want to die. Not yet anyway.
