It's an illusion caused by dating app. algorithms, relative numbers of men and women on those apps, etc. The internet increasingly overlaps with offline reality, but only like a narrowly focused fish lens. A poll tweeted by Elon is very unlikely to have the same results as a poll carried out offline, for example. Münecat has an excellent video about it, however she does start by taking the p*ss, get past that and she's really done the research 🤠
