  1. The public are irrational. We have to creep on tiptoes in order not to startle the bond market men and their rationality. If you frit them we're done for. Their emotional stability HAS to be considered. The Truss budget disaster was due to tax cuts for the wealthy being too deep and fast. The people who told Truss to do it, wanted it - just slower. It didn't prove that robbing more from the people with nothing is rational. I agree! We need to increase taxes: On wealth, not work. Odd that this learned, rational bloke can't conceive of such a thing.
