  1.  @boogaloo8204  Caolan is very bright and articulate. I've just seen his interview on Sky, then Byline and now this one. There is defniitely a progression in the right direction. In the first it was most important he'd gone viral, not so much the effect of how he had. In Byline he's demonstrating that he still understands the linked nature of real and cyber space, but is talking about reach in terms of scale of deradicalisation and dispelling myths. Not self-gratification. Excessive purity testing and an all exits closed mentality means that at best Caolan would've stayed anonymous working in a countryside pub and the left would have lost his personal knowledge, experience and media savviness in a world where media literacy is in increasing need. I'll let you imagine what some of the worst outcomes might've been.
