A lot of people didn't believe Trump and co would cut as much, nor add as much to the national debt, or break quite so many laws, conventions, etc. There's the general Overton window, then there's MAGA's and Reform's. Bearing in mind what Séan pointed out too: Is Ferengi Farage hiding his power level and how to continue to appeal to his wealthy chums and some of the poor? If the Fromage Fürher continues to have effective social media posturing, then like MAGA it won't really matter what the reality is for his base. It'll be more a case of how do we break the hex/ help people get out of that information silo?
