Although i wasn't bright enough to attend a grammar school, i was never envious and i still believe that segregation is the way forward, otherwise, the result is an average and the brighter pupils are held back!! 🤔

@mark314158 This is true. I believe that it was a mistake to scrap the 11 plus exam. By that age, it's fair to say that a judgement of a child's intelligence can be assessed with reasonable accuracy. The brighter pupils were then sent to a grammar school and those that remained, were secondary school educated. . .a far better system than bunching all of the pupils together.

@johngibson6787 The more nationalities we introduce, will only compound the problem. Some teachers are trying to address classes with 20+ different languages!! 🤔
