Word obviously spread very quickly, that we were housing illegal migrants in hotels, as opposed to the French option of tents etc. So it was our own fault for not continuing what the French were doing and just providing meagre assistance. Incidentally, most of the illegals are not refugees, but are economic illegal migrant lawbreakers.
