Whilst I do not wish these so called asylum seekers any harm, I think it will be inevitable that sooner or later there will be trouble, as the numbers of these boat people reach unacceptable proportions (and it's not too far away now!) The excuse that they wish to come here because they speak English, is not true in most cases. The government have made laws to control these people, but don't have the guts to enforce them!

  3. I'm still convinced that the French are pleased to be rid of these so called asylum seekers and are probably providing the boats and waving them off! The money paid to the French to improve on their coastal security, would have bought some well needed equipment for a hospital!

  6. My son was trained up on the Horizon System when first introduced. At that time, he tells me that it was o.k. . .maybe the cost of a postage stamp required to balance the books. It appears that a probable upgrade of software created the trouble. My son left before the system was corrupted.

  8. God knows how much this is costing the taxpayer!! They arrive with no documentation (having destroyed it in a lot of cases.) If I could accommodate some of the Ukrainian people, I'd do it, but I haven't the room for these illegal boat people, that should have stayed in the first country that they arrived in.

  9. There's a big difference between the Ukrainian asylum people and the 'boat people'. The Ukrainian people wish to return when that maniac Putin has been deposed and there's a Ukrainian victory. These 'boat people' have no right to assume that they are entitled to a permanent residence here. We have the laws to keep them out. . .why don't we exercise them?!!
