  1.  @daanmageddon  yep, my one TP-Link unit is acting as an access point. Of course I bought that particular model because I knew OpenWRT was available for it, in case I needed to re-purpose it.

  4. I haven't updated my firmware in quite a while because every time I've updated it before, MSI completely fucks up my configuration. Even though I currently have INsecure Boot disabled, their update decides to turn it on. Even though I have Linux as my primary boot, it will screw up my Linux boot and make MSWin10's bootloader the default. MSI blatantly refuses to accept that they need to LEAVE MY SETTINGS ALONE. I put it in as a bug report and they refuse the bug with a bunch of mealy-mouthed excuses. Eventually removed the ability to activate MSWin boot by removing it's boot files from UEFI and only use GRUB2 to boot MSWin on the exceptionally rare occasions I boot it.
