  1. As opposed to Gerald Bull's prototype/test gun in Highwater Quebec, pointed at North Troy VT. Yeah, I know, not much of a target, wouldn't have noticed much of a difference.

  2. I think that was Bull's theory for a later stage of development, to have a booster pack to put the sat into final orbit. Could still be useful for getting small, repeated payloads into space (resupplies, etc).

  3. Gerald Bull also had a third test gun at the SRC (Space Research Corp) facility at Highwater Quebec (Canada) and North Troy VT (USA). Yes, the complex straddled the border. When they test fired the gun (on the Canadian side) we could hear it in town in the US, and even rattled the windows on occasion. One of the Martlet prototypes sat in the hallway down from my father's office.
