  2. Interesting that Lee Zeldin didn't want it. I thought part of the reason they ran his doomed-to-fail campaign in New York was to set him up as the next useless chair of the RNC. At least he realized he couldn't handle it. Too bad he couldn't have figured that before running for Governor (could have had a competent candidate like Libertarian Larry Sharpe instead).
