  1. A lot of these are NOT "one-hit wonders". A one-hit wonder is a band that comes out with a big hit song, usually right at the beginning of their career, and then disappear. If a band has had a steady following for years before, and/or continued with a steady career afterwards, they aren't one-hit wonders. Then they're an established band that had a moment of wider-scale interest.
