  2. It's the corruption in the big cities that vote for sleazeballs like him. We have the same problem in NY State. The patriotic and intelligent people of the rural areas (by land area, far FAR larger than the filthy cities) who know better, but get overridden by the slimy cities. I'm of the opinion that offices like Governor, Lt. Governor, and US Senators should be elected according to tallies by county, not a blanket statewide vote. I also feel presidential electoral votes should be allocated by representational districts (the "popular vote" by state would still get the two senatorial electors per state).
