Even when I had heard it was a Russian missile, I already considered it as an error in the launch, or that it was deflected and ended up in Poland. After all, just what would be the benefit to Russia to attack a small farm on the Polish border? A simple moment's thought would make you recognize it as a mistake. And as much as I feel sympathy for the two Poles that were killed, and sympathy for their families, this would NOT be the basis for a counter attack. At most it might warrant a statement from the State Department to Russia about haphazard missile launches. Now, if it was a misfired UKRANIAN missile, that same statement might be warranted for Ukraine. I will admit I'd still like to see Ukrain beat Russia's butt, but not because I hold any specific feelings towards one country or the other. I'm just concerned that if Russia can commit an unprovoked invasion of their neighboring country, it just sets the wrong example for other countries (such as China attacking Taiwan). But it's reached the point where that lesson isn't going to get taught regardless of the eventual outcome.
