Trying to convince my daughter and my wife that our daughter should look at a trade school rather than college. As it is she's not ready for college anyway (surviving essentially on her own), so why not learn something where she can earn money now and go for the advanced classes if needed later on. There's a lot of careers where you can go to college, but you could take actual tradesman classes instead. On top of that you're not paying out thousands on thousands of dollars for filler courses that don't move you towards your chosen career (and have to listen to the professors telling you waht a horrible person you and your race are).
