  1. Who even CARES about what Hollywood & Co are spewing out of their butts. I have plenty of other things to watch, be it classic old shows, or catching up on my backlog of anime and other Asian shows. If I want to watch cheesy mindless low-brow television, I have two more seasons of 'Sukeban Deka' to watch (along with a couple 'sukeban-like' shows). Or go back and re-watch (for the 4th or 5th time) something of great intelligence, well-crafted writing and acting like 'Babylon 5'. As for films, there are humorous favorites like "Young Frankenstein" or "Yellow Submarine", or you can watch some classic Kurosawa. So who really needs modern-day Hollywood?
