  1. Even if Edward had never abdicated we might have ended up with Queen Elisabeth anyway. Edward & Wallis Simpson never had any children, they might not have as King & Queen. Besides, Edward was about as much of a prima-donna petulant child as Harry. Except Harry never leaked military secrets to an enemy country (that we know of).
