  1. Requiring hundreds of hours of training to get a hair stylist's license doesn't mean that gun licensing is wrong, it means that hairstylist licensing is wrong. The insane amount of licensing needed just to be allowed to do your job is simply unacceptable. Using one example of excessive government overreach as an excuse to expand more government overreach is simply wrong.

  2. Sure, and what happened in that now-disarmed Australia during the pandemic? Why the government was able to run roughshod over the rights and freedoms of their citizens like a bunch of jackbooted thugs. Lock up people in internment camps over fears of C**id19? Sure thing, who's going to stop them? Not such a great deal the people of Australia got after all, is it? And Japan is a far different culture. And their mass killings happen too, just not with guns. Just look at what happened to my favourite animation studio in 2019, where a mentally unstable local man set fire to the studio, ultimately killing 36 people. And as much of an admirer of Japanese culture, I understand very well that their handling of mental illness is much worse than most other countries.
