  1. I try to buy from small, independent businesses whenever possible. When there isn't an independent, I favour local chains over national ones.

  2.  @masterimaginariumdooblepop7592  it's time to re-assert State Sovereignty. Of course, in our state we need to break up the state into two pieces anyway (we need to kick out NYC).

We kind of HAVE to shop at Amazon (or whatever online store I can buy from as I desperately try to AVOID Amazon) since the "brick & Mortar" stores can't be bothered to actually stock product in their stores anymore (and we're not talking about the current supply chain issues, this has been a trend for the past decade).

  4. Don't buy electronics there, they will take returned product, shove it roughly into the box, and re-sell them as NEW. Happened to me twice, which is why I know to never buy electronics there ever again. (I generally don't go there anyway unless I can't find what I need elsewhere. Luckily there are other places closer to shop than WalMart).
