"If 'pro' is the opposite of 'con', what is the opposite of 'progress'?" But as for blaming Reagan for the growth of monopolistic practices, if you look at who is backing the DEMOCRATIC Party you will find all those monopolistic, self-serving entities are their backers and underwriters. Even the rank-and-file of the Democratic Party have no say in what the party does. Reaganism was all about open/free markets and very importantly, COMPETITION (I wish I had understood that in the 1980's). Look at what administrations squashed the investigations and allowed the mergers to go through; Bill Clinton and Barak Obama. The same way they allowed special interests to destroy everything else in your life.
