Now, removing Section-230 protections for Failbook, Google, Twitter, etc would do much more without adding yet MORE bureaucracy that would only come back to bite us later.

  4. well yes, I expect the curfew violated the civil rights of the citizens, but I doubt the judge made the ruling out of a genuine concern for the righjts of American people. Certainly his act of retaliation against the Mayor and the Police Chief shows us where his intent lies.

  27. Seems to me Judge Jackson represents a much different form of inclusion we haven't seen much of before. Used to be we would decide to add minorities and women to these high positions. Judge Jackson represents an entirely NEW form of inclusion; appointing someone completely unqualified for the job!

  34. The NY State Governor, as well as the two US Senators need to be elected *by county*. Tally the vote totals for each county, and the winning candidate gets one "electoral vote" for that county. Total up the county -based electors, and that gives you the winner of the campaign. It's not like NYC wouldn't get their representation in Congress. It's called the "House of Representatives" for a reason. And if NYC balks at it? They can find how it is to do without all that water they're stealing from all the counties north of NYC. Especially since the belligerent attitude of the NYC Water System tramples all over the rights of those counties.

I just finished "Compliance Training" for my job, and from what I got from that training, firing those staffers would constitute "retaliatory actions" and is outright ILLEGAL. Is someone going to do something about that too? Nope, didn't think so.
