@Max_Chooch In part it's a cultural thing. Even when they were developing their manufacturing, and were the country making those "cheap" products for the US market, they always felt it a sense of honor to do the best job they could. And they'd learn as they went how to improve on what they make. It's a shame that China, which also had been a country of great craftsmanship, lost all that under the iron fist of the CCP. A government that operates under a pretence of "communism", but is merely out to benefit the few CCP officials at he expense of their people.
